At around 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 9, an officer came across a car that was traveling in the wrong direction on Pennsylvania Avenue before crashing into a parked vehicle in the area. While speaking with the driver - who has not been identified - he was instructed to sit on a nearby curb amid the initial investigation; however, he had different intentions. Wanted Suspect Injured In Police-Involved Shooting In Montgomery County Two wanted individuals in an ongoing investigation were arrested after striking a police officer's vehicle, authorities say. Shortly after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, detectives were attempting to arrest the pair at the corner of Ebenezer Road and Pulaski Highway when the suspect's vehicle struck the detective's car as well as a civilian vehicle, according to Montgomery County Police. Juvenile, Adult Arrested For Shooting At Police Officer In Anne Arundel County: Police A juvenile and adult suspect have been arrested in connection with a police-involved shooting in Anne Arundel County, authorities said.  The teenager, along with 18-year-old Brian Bautista, were approached by a Special Police Officer at an MPD-owned impound lot in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday, May 17, Metropolitan Police said. The SPO questioned the suspects, who then fired shots at the officer, according to MPD. The officer then returned fire. No injuries were reported, MPD said. Bautista and the juvenile were charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing.
