The first assault occurred around 11:40 a.m., Thursday, March 30 in the area of Mountain Road near Jumpers Hole Road while officers were on a routine patrol of the area, according to Anne Arundel County police. The officer was patrolling the area when he noticed a man, identified as Decarlos Briscoe, 33, assaulting another person with a pole in the middle of the road.
