The ski mask-wearing man who targeted an elderly employee as she was closing an Anne Arundel County pharmacy to steal a trash bag full of prescription pills is heading to prison. Marlon Patrick Green, 35, who has no fixed address, was convicted on all counts following a two-day trial for an armed robbery at the Annapolis Professional Pharmacy earlier this year where he made off with nearly $3,000 in drugs, the Anne Arundel State's Attorney's Office announced. The drug dealer who sold the pills that led to the fatal overdose of 20-year-old Rockville resident Kevin Ourand in his mother’s basement will spend time behind bars, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney announced. Teymour Peters, 22, of Rockville, was sentenced by a judge to 10 years in prison with all but one year suspended for selling fentanyl to Ourand, who died of an overdose in October last year. A wanted woman is facing new charges after allegedly attempting to bring prison contraband into a Maryland jail, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced. Lexington Park resident Nicole Anne Kelly, 36, was arrested by sheriff's deputies earlier this month on an outstanding warrant, after which she was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said on Wednesday, June 29. Fentanyl-Laced 'Perc30' Kills 2 Virginia Teens, Authorities Say
Two Virginia teens died within days of each other after apparently ingesting counterfeit Percocet laced with fentanyl, authorities said. A 15-year-old died in Woodbridge on Sunday, April 24, and on April 26, a 14-year-old in Dale City, PWC police said.
