Man Standing Near Landscaping Vehicle Killed In Maryland Crash, Police Say An investigation has been launched in Howard County after a man died at an area hospital following a crash on Thursday morning, police say. Officers from the Howard County Police Department were called shortly before 8:45 a.m. on June 20 to the 10500 block of Dorchester Way in Woodstock, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian and a 2017 Toyota Corolla. Prince George’s County Police responded to the crash near Landover Road and Neighbor Lane and found an unresponsive man in the roadway around 8:45 p.m. on Monday night, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified. Investigators believe the driver was heading northbound on Landover Road before fatally striking the man and speeding off. Woman Dies In Baltimore Hit-Run Crash A 65-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash in Baltimore Wednesday, July 6, authorities said. The victim was crossing on the 2000 block of North Broadway with a walker when she was struck around 2:50 p.m. city police said.  She was unresponsive when police arrived and taken to John’s Hopkins Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
