Hit-Run Driver At Large After Killing Pedestrian In MD On New Year's Day A hit-and-run driver remains at large after a Maryland crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian on New Year’s Day. Prince George’s County Police responded to the crash near Landover Road and Neighbor Lane and found an unresponsive man in the roadway around 8:45 p.m. on Monday night, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified. Investigators believe the driver was heading northbound on Landover Road before fatally striking the man and speeding off. Man Killed By Hit-Run Driver Remembered As Person 'Worthy Of Our Praises' In Baltimore County Family and friends are mourning a beloved 75-year-old Baltimore County man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.  Officers from the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the intersection of Painters Mill Road and Owings Choice Court in Owings Mills, where they found Reginald Haysbert in the roadway on Wednesday night, police say.  He was rushed to an area hospital and later died from his injuries.
