A Special Police Officer from Prince George's County was fatally shot in Washington DC over the weekend, authorities said. Shawn Minor, 33, of Forestville, was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Elvans Road, Southeast around 12:23 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, Metropolitan Police said. Minor was on-duty and in uniform up until his death, police said. Minor was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for evaluation. A 33-year-old woman reported missing was found dead in Virginia, authorities said. Kelley Muscara's body was found the morning of Saturday, May 14 by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Kincora Drive in Sterling, they said. Investigators believe there was no foul play involved in Muscara's death and are ruling it as accidental, the office said on Monday. A 65-year-old Bowie man died in a crash Saturday just after midnight in Glen Burnie, authorities said. Kurt Ignatius Johnson was heading north on West Nursery Road approaching River Road when he lost control on a curve and struck a utility pole around 12:10 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police said. Britrain Gray, of Odenton, was working at the restaurant at the time of the shooting, which happened at the McDonalds at 1130 Crain Highway in Crofton around 4:45 a.m. on Friday, May 13, according to Anne Arundel County Police. A Hagerstown man who had been missing since January was found dead in Clear Spring over the weekend, authorities say. The body of Bryan Patrick Harley, 38, was found by three juveniles in a wooded area near Route 69 and I-70 on Sunday, May 8, reports the Maryland State Police.
