Man, 41, Struck Dead In Baltimore County: Police
A man was struck and killed while crossing a Baltimore County street Monday evening, March 11, police said. It happened near the intersection of North Point Boulevard and Charlesmont Road in Dundalk around 10:30 p.m., according to the BCPD. Boley Terry Trent IV, 41, was attempting to cross North Point Boulevard when he was struck by a 2020 Toyota Corolla heading southbound. Trent was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead. A Maryland Lottery player is $100,000 richer. The 69-year-old Baltimore grandfather says he bought the $10 Bingo X10 ticket on a whim. "Something said to buy that game," he told lottery officials. The scratch-off was sold at MP Liquors on North Point Boulevard in Dundalk. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the lottery that he intends to deposit his winnings in a bank for the time being. Smokehouse Murder: Police Seek Leads In Killing Of Dundalk 'Family Man' Year Later
Police in Baltimore County are looking for leads in a 2021 murder case nearly a year later. Rosario “Tony” Valenti died in an attack while leaving Papa's Smokehouse on North Point Boulevard in Dundalk on Feb. 28, 2021. Shortly after midnight, Tony left through the front entrance of the restaurant where he was attacked and stabbed. Tony died at the scene. The 45-year-old victim was remembered as a "family man," who was well known and well-liked throughout the community.
