Missing Endangered Alert Canceled Pennsylvania Man Found In Maryland
A missing endangered person alert has been canceled for a South Central Pennsylvania man who was last seen in Maryland, police announced Wednesday night, Oct. 9. Harry Joseph Runkle was just 10 days shy of his 77th birthday when he went missing, according to the York County Regional Police. Runkle is from the 4900 block of N. Sherman Street in Mount Wolf, East Manchester Township, police explained. He had last been seen at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. 'Justice Served' After Man Accused Of Killing Naval Academy Midshipman's Mother Found Guilty
A jury has found a man accused of killing a Naval Academy midshipman's mother guilty on all charges after deliberating for around four hours, according to multiple reports. Angelo Harrod, 31, was convicted of killing Michelle Cummings, 57, after she was struck by a stray bullet in Annapolis while on the patio of the Graduate Hotel on June 29, 2021 shortly after she had dropped off her son at the nearby Naval Academy, the reports continue. Taylor George Connors, 24, passed away from complications of thermal injuries on June 7. Fire Damages 4 Homes In Annapolis Displacing Several Families
A fire broke out in an Annapolis neighborhood damaging several homes and displacing half a dozen people, according to WUSA9. Firefighters responded to a report of a house fire in the 1600 block of Elwood Court at around 1:30 a.m., according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. No residents were injured but four homes were damaged in the fire. A Naval Academy firefighter who responded to the scene was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
