'Rabbit' Robs Man With Screwdriver After Asking For A Smoke In Maryland, Police Say
A "Rabbit" is on the run after an early morning shakedown outside an area business when he targeted someone in Anne Arundel County. At around 5:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning, officers were called to Lidl in the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway to investigate a reported robbery involving a victim who said he was approached by a man known to him only as "Rabbit" who asked for a cigarette, police say. A Lidl supermarket in Maryland is preparing to shutter its doors for the final time. A manufacturer has issued a nationwide recall for two of its brands of cheese because of potential contamination with Listeria, the Food and Drug Administration announced on Friday, Sept. 30. Old Europe Cheese, Inc. of Benton Harbor, Michigan is recalling its Brie and Camembert cheeses due to the concerns of Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
