Two women from Maryland who crossed state lines are facing serious charges after being busted for multiple retail thefts in Virginia, police say.
Loredana Sardaru, 39, and Ilie Anisoara, 31, both of Ellicott City, were arrested this week in connection to a series of reported thefts at the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall on Fort Evans Road NE.

A Maryland man is being sought out of Virginia for going on a rampage with a hammer and bashing another man's vehicle with his own in a confrontation over a female acquaintance's relationship, authorities said.
Victor Manuel Gonzalez Cisneros, 26, of Marlboro, showed up at an apartment on the 13100 block of Marina Way in Woodbridge around 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, to confront another man over a relationship with a female acquaintance, police said.

School Employees Busted In $2 Million Laptop Embezzlement Scheme: Fairfax PD
Two Fairfax County school employees and a third man were arrested on accusations they planned on stealing 35,000 school laptops totaling $2 million, officials said.
Franque Minor II, 35, and Mario Jones, Jr., 21, were employees for the school system and worked at a warehouse, which they were using as a hub to auction off the computers illegally, Fairfax County Police said.
After their arrest on Thursday, July 14, police found Fadi Attyeh, 36, outside of the Industrial Road warehouse in a truck labeled Attyah Computer Recycling. Inside of it they found the laptops, police said.
