Police ID Teen Driver, Passengers Killed Crashing Carjacked Kia After Fiery Crash In Maryland
New details have been released as police continue to investigate a fatal crash that left four dead in Prince George's County. Lanham resident Marquay Swann, 14, was the driver of the Kia Sorento that went up in flames after a fatal pursuit that also took the lives of 15-year-old Zyshaun Cuffey, of Glenarden, and Upper Marlboro native Serenity Sellman, 15, the Medical Examiner's Office confirmed on Monday. Park Outside: Kia Recalling 70,000 SUVs Due To Possible Fire Risk
Some Kia SUV owners are being advised to park their vehicles outside due to a potential fire risk that led to a recall of 70,000 vehicles. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall of Kia Sorento and Sportage SUV models that were produced between 2016 and 2023 for a faulty tow hitch that could catch fire.
