The former Meadow View Swim Club in Carroll County was the target of a reported incendiary fire on Saturday morning, officials say. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on July 6, crews were called to the 3600 block of Littlestown Pike in Westminster, where the owners reported a fire involving two separate vacant wood-framed structures on the property. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has completed its investigation into a fire that killed three Baltimore City firefighters earlier this year. In January, Baltimore Fire Lt. Paul Butrim, Lt. Kelsey Sadler, and EMS Kenny Lacayo were killed in a fire in a vacant row home in the 200 block of South Stricker Street in a blaze that was deemed “incendiary” by officials. Suspect At Large After Setting Intentional Fire In Maryland Yard
The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating an alleged incendiary fire that was set in the front yard of a St. Mary’s County home. Shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, a fire was reported outside a Forest Run Road residence in Lexington Park, officials said. Stricker Street Fire That Killed 3 Baltimore Firefighters Ruled A Homicide
A fire that claimed the lives of three Baltimore City firefighters has been ruled as a homicide, authorities said. Lieutenants Paul Butrim and Kelsey Sadler as well as Firefighter/EMT Kenneth Lacayo were killed after a vacant home on South Stricker Street collapsed on Jan. 24, Baltimore Police said.
