A Baltimore courthouse had to be temporarily locked down on Monday afternoon after a staffer inside the building got a letter with a suspicious white powder inside, officials say. A building had to be evacuated on Tuesday afternoon due to a carbon dioxide leak at a Baltimore County dispensary. HazMat crews were called to Plant 3(Curio) at 5 West Aylesbury Road in Timonium at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to investigate a report of an uncontained issue, officials say. Officials said that due to the elevated levels of Carbon Dioxide, the building was evacuated as a precaution, though no injuries were initially reported. Overturned Concrete Truck Makes A Mess In Southeast DC: Fire Officials
Emergency response crews had quite the mess to clean up Tuesday morning after a concrete truck overturned after a car crash in Southwest DC. The crash was reported in the 1400 block of 1st Street, Southeast just before 10 a.m., according to a Tweet from DC Fire and EMS. pic.twitter.com/0WKKzRJY81 — DC Fire and EMS (@dcfireems) May 17, 2022 The driver of the truck was being treated for minor injuries and Hazmat crews were requested to handle the fuel spill, officials said.
