Major Mall-Based Chain To Close 543 Stores After Filing For Bankruptcy
A major retailer primarily located in malls and headquartered in Pennsylvania is set to close all 543 of its stores following its third Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Closures for all rue21 locations are expected to be completed within the next two months with going-out-of-business sales coming soon. The 31-year-old woman killed by a homeless man in what police say was a random attack at a Washington DC hotel has been identified as a Virginia native with an innate ability to make others feel comfortable. Christy Bautista, of Harrisonburg, VA, was stabbed dead by George Sydnor, Jr., 43, in a room at the Ivy City Hotel in the 1600 block of New York Avenue Friday evening, March 31, Metropolitan police said. A 20-year-old convicted felon is in custody following a mass shooting that left eight with gunshot wounds over the weekend not far from James Madison University in Virginia, authorities announced. Six Men Busted For Soliciting Minors During Online Sting Operation: Fairfax County Police
On Tuesday, August 9, Fairfax police announced that six men were arrested for their attempt to solicit inappropriate behavior from minors, who were really police officers, on the internet, police said.
