Nine Pounds Of Pot, Coke, Cash Seized From Driver In Baltimore After Crash, Police Say
A Randallstown man was arrested after police found him with more than nine pounds of suspected marijuana and cocaine, authorities say.
Michael Harrell Jr., 30, was pulled over after observing him driving a Honda Accord with a paper license plate that was registered to a Ford Truck on the night of Friday, Jan. 13, according to Baltimore police.
When officers approached the vehicle, they saw a handgun and suspected narcotics. Harrell then tried to drive away, but collided with a police vehicle.

Two Men Charged In Two Days On Gun Offenses In Maryland: State Police
Maryland State Police troopers arrested two men on gun charges following a pair of separate traffic stops in Montgomery County this week, officials announced on Friday, Oct. 28.
First, Robel Habtu, 20, of Silver Spring, was stopped at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, by troopers from the Rockville Barrack on Piney Branch Road near Ray Drive for illegally tinted windows.
While conducting that stop, troopers say that they suspected illegal drugs inside Habtu’s vehicle, and a search of his vehicle led to the seizure of a handgun that was reported stolen in South Carolina.

One Injured, Two Apprehended After Shooting At Union Station, Capitol Police Say
United States Capitol Police apprehended a pair of suspects involved in an alleged shooting at Union Station, authorities announced.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, a Capitol Police sergeant heard the shots at Union Station, while DC’s Metropolitan Police issued an alert for shots fired at the same location.
Officers were quick to respond to the scene, searched the area, and apprehended two suspected shooters involved in the incident near North Capitol Street and H Street, where they confiscated a handgun, officials said.
