Multiple Systems Have Potential To Be Next Named Tropical Storm Of Hurricane Season Three areas are being monitored for the potential to become the next named tropical storm of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, with one of them having a strong chance. In particular, an area in the southwest Caribbean has a high chance of development, according to an update Friday morning, Nov. 1 by the National Hurricane Center, rating the chance at 70 percent. Ex-Ravens QB Ryan Mallett Drowns In Gulf Of Mexico, 35 Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett has died in an apparent drowning in Florida on Tuesday June 27, officials said. He was 35 years old. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department identified Mallett as the victim who drowned in the Gulf of Mexico. First responders were called to the beach behind 775 Gulf Shore Drive in Destin, FL, at 2:12 p.m., the sheriff's office said.
