Police ID 23-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Prince George's County Parking Lot
The Prince George's County Police Department has identified the 23-year-old Bowie man who was killed after being shot in the middle of the day in Greenbelt on Monday afternoon. Shortly before 2 p.m. on July 29, officers were called to the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road to investigate a reported shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they found Jordan Swan outside in an apartment building parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police say that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a scooter driver overnight in Prince George's County. At approximately 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday night, officers were called to the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, where there was a report of a person who had been struck by a rider, who also suffered injuries. A 26-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of killing his uncle in Greenbelt. Prince George's County Police arrested Daquan White on the afternoon of Thursday, March 30 after he killed his uncle, 44-year-old Steven Mouring, during an argument. Police are asking for help finding the driver responsible for a fatal hit and run that occurred in Greenbelt, authorities say. Zarek Lynch, 22, of Annapolis was killed after being hit by a vehicle around 2 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19 in the 6300 block of Greenbelt Road, according to Prince George's County police. Victim ID'd In Fatal Head-On Collision In Greenbelt
The victim of a fatal crash over the weekend in Greenbelt has been identified, authorities say. Manuel Juarez, 52, was driving westbound on Greenbelt Road when an eastbound vehicle crossed into his lane striking him head-on near Lakecrest Drive around 7:40 a.m., Friday, June 10, according to Prince George's County Police. Juarez was transported to a nearby hospital and succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
