Troopers were called at approximately 3 a.m. to the inner loop of I-495 near Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, where there was a reported three-vehicle crash.

Teens Busted For Armed Robbery, Police Pursuit That Ended With Metro Bus Crash In Maryland
Three teens are facing multiple charges after taking police in Maryland on a high-speed pursuit while attempting to flee from a reported armed robbery in Montgomery County, officials say.
Silver Spring resident Natnael Akalu, 18, Wesley Jose Nunez, 18, and Lorenzo Antonio Madrid, 19, both of Washington, DC, have been identified by police investigators as the suspects who took off from police before coming to a fiery halt when the driver crashed into a Metro Bus.
The incident began shortly before 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, according to a Montgomery County Police Department spokesperson. …
Man Fires Gun In Armed Robbery At 7-Eleven In Silver Spring: Police
A man fired a gun during an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Montgomery County, according to police.
An unidentified male pointed the gun at clerks of the convenience store located in the 7900 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, demanded the key to the register, and fired a shot at the wall, Montgomery County Police said. The clerks then opened two registers and the suspect hopped the counter, took an undisclosed amount of money, then fled.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with an average build.
