Man Convicted Of Threatening To Crush, Shoot Child During Separate Incidents In Maryland
A 46-year-old Monrovia man has been convicted of abusing and imprisoning a child he had previously threatened with a gun, the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office announced on Thursday.
Christopher Kraft, 46, was found complicit in assaulting a child earlier this year following an investigation by the sheriff's office into claims of child abuse that were filed in March.
On Sunday, March 3, deputies responded to conduct a welfare check of a child, who they met, along with Kraft.

Serial Church Burglar Busted After Unholy String Of Robberies In MD: Sheriff
Karma came back to bite a serial robber who went on a stealing spree at area churches in Frederick County until fate came calling for him.
Vittorio Lane, 36, of Sykesville, has been arrested and charged in connection to a string of recent church burglaries throughout the county, the sheriff's office announced on Wednesday, July 26.
Lane's unholy union with the law began on Thursday, May 25, and continued through Tuesday, July 4, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.

A group of people had to get creative to help fend off a machete-wielding homeless man who unexpectedly attacked them in Maryland, police said.
The Frederick Police Department announced on Wednesday, Sept. 14 that Donald Lamar Myers, Sr., 40, who has no fixed address in Frederick County is facing multiple assault charges following an incident earlier this week.
