Four men charged in connection to a mass shooting that left one dead and five others injured inside a Southwest DC apartment more than a year ago, federal authorities announced. Shortly after 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2023, Assistant Metropolitan Police Chief Carlos Heraud said that officers rushed to the 200 block of M Street SW when they heard gunshots ring out. The District man who repeatedly stabbed his unconscious victim to death during a knock-down drag-out fight in Southeast DC will spend more than a decade behind bars, federal authorities announced. Shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to a renowned stretch of Indian Head Highway near Farmington Drive to investigate a reported crash.
