Firefighter Hospitalized While Battling Maryland House Fire
One firefighter was injured on Tuesday morning battling a blaze that broke out in Harford County, officials say. Two firefighters were injured in Prince George's County on Thursday night when a tractor-trailer crashed into an ambulance and several other vehicles. An ambulance that was stopped on the Inner Loop of the Beltway and MD-210 at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 in Oxon Hill when it was struck by the truck driver, according to officials. Three firefighters were recovering after sustaining serious injuries while containing a residential fire in Temple Hills, authorities say.
