A passerby is being credited with alerting patrons at a Maryland diner to a fire that will temporarily keep the eatery closed, officials say. Tractor-Trailers Torched During Two-Alarm Blaze Outside Maryland Business: Fire Marshal
It took first responders more than an hour to knock down the flames that left five tractor-trailers in Maryland torched by a two-alarm blaze that broke out in one of the trucks. Thousands of dollars in damage was caused to a classroom inside a Maryland high school when the custodial staff accidentally sparked a fire, officials say.
