Police ID Man Killed During Maryland Carjacking
A 52-year-old man was killed over the weekend during a violent carjacking in Prince George's County. Capitol Heights Michael Fernando Davis was identified on Monday as the victim who suffered fatal injuries during the theft of his car, which was subsequently crashed nearby, police say. The incident was reported at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 in the 5700 block of Gladstone Way. An investigation has been launched in Prince George's County after a dead body was found on the side of the road. On Tuesday afternoon, police say that troopers in Forestville were called when a person was found in the grass along the on-ramp from Woodyard Road to southbound Branch Avenue.
