Missing Maryland Boater Drowned, Police Say
A boater who had been missing since Monday, July 3 has drowned, Maryland's National Resources Police said. The boater's body was recovered on Wednesday, July 5, Megan McGinn-Meals of the NRP said. Police, the U.S. Coast Guard and Anne Arundel Fire Company had been searching for him ever since unmanned boat was spotted circling in Curtis Creek near Solley's Cove Park in Curtis Bay, McGinn-Meals said. Kidnapping Victim Forced Into Trunk Of Car Before Being Thrown Over Bridge In Glen Burnie
Police are investigating a kidnapping after a woman was thrown into the trunk of a car in Glen Burnie. Officers were called to Crew Boats To Go in Baltimore around 7 a.m., Saturday, April 15 after a kidnapping victim had escaped, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The woman stated that she was kidnapped after dropping off a friend in the 300 block of Milton Avenue in Glen Burnie around 2:30 a.m. Investigation revealed that after the woman dropped off her friend, she was approached by a man and a woman who dragged her from her vehicle and threw her in the trunk.
