Police ID 42-Year-Old Virginia Woman Killed In Single-Vehicle Maryland Crash
Police have identified the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County as a 42-year-old Virginia woman.
Alyssa Marie Clark, of Reston, was driving a blue 2007 Toyota Camry westbound on Darnestown Road on Nov. 21 when her vehicle veered off the roadway and slammed into a utility pole near Bondy Lane shortly after 10:30 p.m., Montgomery County police said.

Montgomery County Driver Had Expired Learner's Permit In Deadly Head-On Crash: Police
A Montgomery County man involved in a deadly head-on crash in Fall 2022 was indicted by a grand jury on charges alleging that he was distracted and had an expired permit at the time of the collision, police said Tuesday, March 19.
Kelvy Jose, Jr., 22, of Kensington, was arrested on Friday, March 15, on a warrant charging him with criminally negligent manslaughter by vehicle, according to the MCPD.
Jose, Jr. was involved in a collision at the intersection of Randolph Road and Hammonton Place in Silver Spring on Oct. 12, 2022.

Montgomery Village Man Killed After Crossing Street
A man has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a Montgomery County street, authorities say.
Sterling David Brown, 67, was reportedly crossing Montgomery Village Avenue near Centerway Road when he was struck by a red 2017 Toyota Corolla that was traveling north, according to Montgomery County police.
The collision was reported around 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, police say.
Brown, who was a resident at Montgomery Village, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, and tragically passed away from his injuries the following day on Thursday, Feb. 2.
