A suspect behind a homicide that occurred earlier this year tried to escape Baltimore Police headquarters after being charged with first-degree murder, authorities said. Samuel Wise was arrested in connection with the January shooting death of Chesley Patterson on Tuesday, April 12, Baltimore Police said.
