A domestic dispute inside a Maryland apartment turned deadly when a 43-year-old man killed his girlfriend, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. Keith Maybin, Jr. was arrested by Seat Pleasant Police officers on Thursday night after threatening two people with a gun, hours after he allegedly murdered his girlfriend Courtney Blacksher inside of an area apartment. A woman was killed in an early morning collision near a Southern Maryland intersection on Monday morning, police say. At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Monday, July 17, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 7200 block, where there was a report of a pedestrian who had been struck in the roadway. An Upper Marlboro girl who died days after being involved in Seat Pleasant crash has been identified, authorities say. Briya Rumsey, 19, succumbed to her injuries after a car she was a passenger in struck a SUV Central Avenue around 8:30 a.m., Sunday June 26, according to Prince George's County Police. The sedan Rumsey was traveling in was driving east on Central Avenue when the westbound SUV attempted to make a turn on the Capital Beltway. Wrong Way Driver Kills One In Fiery Crash On Capital Beltway
One person was dead after a wrong way driver crashed into them, igniting their vehicle on the Capital Beltway, reports NBC Washington. Mignon Allison Kirksey, 51, was traveling in the northbound lanes when she was killed after Donisha Alexus Leatherwood, 30, struck her vehicle while going the wrong way on the Outer Loop of I-495 near Central Avenue around 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 8, the outlet reports.
