Dead Fox Found In Maryland Neighborhood Tests Positive For Rabies: Officials A fox in Carroll County has tested positive for the rabies virus, authorities said. It was found dead on Friday, Jan. 26 near Starboard Court, in the Windy Hills Development off of Trevanion Road in Taneytown. It had been seen in the area for a few days prior.
