Firefighters Douse Boat Blaze At Anne Arundel County Marina (Photos) Firefighters doused a boat blaze at a marina in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday morning, April 2. The fire broke out on a boat that was tied to the end of a pier at a marina on the 7500 block of Brightwater Beach Rd. in Glen Burnie shortly before 11:15 a.m., the Anne Arundel Fire Department said. Firefighters began to douse the blaze while searching the vessel for possible occupants living aboard. Burning Boat Sinks, Second Severely Damaged By Blaze At Maryland Marina (Photos) A fire involving two boats on the Anchorage Marina in Canton caused one to sink and left another with major damages early on Wednesday, Jan. 31, crews said. The Baltimore City Fire Department responded to the marina to investigate concerns regarding propane tanks being on board one of the vessels. Early-Morning Boat Explosion Rocks Maryland Marina: Fire Marshal A boater in Maryland received an explosive start to Friday morning when a vessel went up in flames after a fresh refueling at the Tidewater Marina in Harford County. Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, first responders from multiple agencies were called to the marina on Bourbon Street in Havre De Grace, where there was a massive boat fire that sent plumes of black smoke billowing throughout the area.
