Blue Angels To Fly Over Annapolis The Blue Angels will be flying over Annapolis twice this week: Once for practice, once for show. The esteemed team of jets, comprised of 138 world-class US Sailors and Marines, will be in town for US Naval Academy Commissioning Week, closing the Severn River twice. Practice is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. The show will be Wednesday, May 22 beginning at 2 p.m. The flight path will be over the Annapolis Maritime Museum and over the US Naval Academy.

Blue Angels Flight Rehearsal To Close Anne Arundel Roads Traffic delays are expected next week for the Blue Angels during the United States Naval Academy Commissioning Week.  The Blue Angels will take flight twice next week, affecting traffic along several routes from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on for Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 25, according to Anne Arundel Officials. The routes affected include: - Taylor Avenue - Rowe Boulevard - Route 450 near the Naval Academy Bridge - Route 648 - Greenbury Point Road - St. Margarets Road Some streets will be closed during the event, including the U.S. Naval Academy Bridge.
