Discount airline Frontier is adding new nonstop routes at Baltimore/Washington International Airport for just $19. The service includes daily flights to Charlotte (CLT), as well as four-times per week flights to Chicago Midway (MDW) and Detroit (DTW). It kicks off Wednesday, April 10 as part of a three-day Mega Sale and Frontier development across 38 airports. The Baltimore/Washington International Airport has ranked as the second worst airport in the nation for flight delays this past summer, according to WBAL reports. Airport data collected from FlightAware showed the airport to rank just below Chicago Midway International Airport for the highest percentages of delays, with a total percentage of flight delays for the Baltimore airport being 32.5% over the summer, the outlet continues. Snow Cancels Nearly 200 Flights At Baltimore Washington Airport
Nearly 200 flights have been canceled at Baltimore/Washington International Airport due to snow, according to FlightAware. A total of 190 flights have been canceled into or out of BWI and another 84 flights have been delayed. BWI is encouraging all fliers to confirm flight status with your airline prior to heading to the airport.
