'Possible Insider Threat' Involving BWI Airport Employee Averted At Checkpoint: TSA TSA officers at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) intercepted a loaded handgun over the holiday weekend that was in the possession of a retail shop employee who works there, officials say. The employee - who now faces serious consequences - was caught with a 9mm handgun that was loaded with eight bullets when it was found in his belongings as he was screened at the checkpoint on the way to work. Frontier Adds Another New Nonstop Flight From Bwi-marshall Airport Frontier Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight to Dallas-Forth Worth from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, reports WBAL TV. The addition is the eighth destination for the airline from the Baltimore area airport, and one of many new flights added to BWI this year.
