Embattled Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Monifa McKnight has reached a mutual agreement with the Board of Education to part ways with the district, effective immediately. A student was hospitalized on Thursday afternoon after a stabbing was reported in a Baltimore County high school. Shortly after noon on Feb. 1, Baltimore County Police Officers were called to Kenwood High School in Essex to investigate a reported disturbance involving students. An 18-year-old is facing charges after being busted bringing a handgun and ammunition to an Anne Arundel County High School. Cameron Jayce Harris was taken into custody after administrators at the Crofton High School reported to police that they had recovered a weapon that was stashed in his backpack.
