Anne Arundel Man Wandering Into Traffic With Drugs Arrested In Glen Burnie: Police

A man who was wandering into traffic has been arrested after officers found him carrying several bags of suspected drugs, authorities report.

Joshua Raymont Ransome, 32, of Glen Burnie agreed to be searched by officers when they arrived at the scene on Crain Highway near 8th Avenue NW on Monday, May 9, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Ransome fled the scene after officers found a clear baggie of suspected cocaine on him, leading a brief foot pursuit that resulted in an officer suffering a minor injury, say police.

Officers recovered around 12.25 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 2.96 grams of suspected heroin, and 3.5 pills of suspected Xanax. Ransome was arrested and charged accordingly, officials report.
