Teen Convicted Of Killing Dad Visiting Daughter During Lunch Break In Baltimore: AG A teenager in Baltimore has been convicted of killing a 27-year-old father while on his way to visit his young daughter, the Maryland Attorney General's Office announced. Parris Harris, 19, has been found guilty of the first-degree murder of Desmond Gardner in January 2023 following a three-day trial earlier this month.  According to prosecutors, on Jan. 26, 2023, Gardner was ambushed by three people - including Harris - who fired more than 20 shots at him in the 3400 block of Spelman Road in the Cherry Hill neighborhood.
