A collaborative law enforcement effort dismantled multiple illegal car rallies across Maryland on New Year’s Eve, leading to the arrests of three individuals, including one found with firearms, authorities said.

A Prince George’s County man will spend more than a decade behind bars after admitting to a string of armed robberies across DC and Maryland, authorities announced Wednesday.
Andrew Trayvon Hale, 27, formerly of Bowie, was sentenced in federal court to 15 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release for his role in 11 armed robberies, including discharging a firearm during one of the crimes, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
