Early on Wednesday afternoon, Springbrook High School was evacuated when a bomb threat targeting the incident sounded alarm bells in administrators' heads and prompted a heavy police presence in the area.
The incident was reported hours after Albert Einstein High School had to be cleared, and on the same day a 12-year-old was identified by police as the child who made at least seven threats to three Montgomery County schools.
Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police responded to Springbrook High School on Wednesday afternoon to investigate the validity of the threat, which was ultimately unfounded
The building was cleared at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Police did not disclose the nature of the threat. There is no known connection between the child and the latest incident.
