A UPS employee from Hyattsville who stole packages and then pawned off the contents for cash has been charged, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police. Adela Beatriz Orellana, 26, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft for stealing the contents of packages she accepted, while employed at UPS and selling the stolen items at local pawn shops, officials said. A Maryland family awoke to a tree crashing through the middle of their two-story home before dawn on Friday, March 1. The tree fell on a home on the 2900 block of Collins Avenue in Wheaton around 4:45 a.m., Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
