Threat Of School Shooting At Frederick County HS Air Dropped To Students' Phones, Sheriff Says Members of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office were called to an area high school to investigate reports of a threat of a potential shooting in the building. Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, the threat of a school shooting was air-dropped into the phones of three students in one classroom at Walkersville High School, according to the sheriff’s office. A juvenile is in custody after the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office received a report of threats made online to blow up Walkersville High School, as well as a teacher’s home, officials announced.
