Virginia Marine Among 3 Dead In Osprey Crash
A U.S. Marine from Virginia was among three killed in an Osprey crash in Australia over the weekend. U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Spencer R. Collart, 21, of Arlington, and two others died in the Sunday, Aug. 27 crash on Melville Island, north of Darwin, around 9:30 a.m., military officials said. The two other Marines killed in the crash were: U.S. Marine Corps Captain Eleanor V. LeBeau, 29, of Illinois; and U.S. Marine Corps Major Tobin J. Chain Reaction Crash Kills MD Sheriff's Deputy On Way Home From Police Academy
A sheriff's deputy in Maryland and former US Marine was killed in a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash that started when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer on his way to attend a family member’s graduation, state police announced. A former US Marine and longtime police officer in Maryland died on Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced. Sgt. George Kramer, who had a lengthy law career in Prince George’s and St. Mary’s counties reportedly passed away peacefully at the Veterans Home, according to Sheriff Tim Cameron. The Naval Academy has identified the Annapolis midshipman who died while on leave in Philadelphia. A hardened ex-con from Connecticut admitted that he and a longtime criminal pal from Philadelphia stabbed a political consultant to death and then torched his Jersey City apartment in a murder-for-hire attack.
