A North Carolina man was released by a judge, but faces a long list of charges in Maryland after allegedly violating a domestic-related protective order a staggering 111 times, according to the sheriff's office. Officers assigned to the sheriff's office's Judicial Services Domestic Violence Unit were recently tipped off that Dennis Lee Jalbert, 44, who was wanted in connection to the violations involving a Charles County resident, was in North Carolina. The man who made several bomb threats targeting a retirement home on different occasions has been arrested, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal. Hagerstown resident John Calvin Walls, 60, is facing charges following an investigation into voicemails that were left at the Williamsport Retirement Village in Washington County. Juvenile Arrested Months After Making Bomb Threat To Montgomery County High School: Police
A juvenile was arrested months after he made a bomb threat to a Montgomery County high school, as well as schools in several other states, police said Friday, March 1. The suspect called Wootton High School in the 2100 block of Wootton Parkway around 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27 and claimed that bombs had been placed inside specific areas of the school. School personnel contacted 911, prompting students and staff to evacuate.
