A West Virginia man is accused of shooting one of his former roommates dead in Pennsylvania and dumping the body in Maryland before fleeing to North Carolina, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 19. The Washington DC mom accused of hiding the body of her deceased infant son was stabbed dead by the boy's father, according to authorities and recent news reports. Carl Jones, 44, is believed to have stabbed Ladonia Boggs dead in an apartment on the 1500 block of Benning Road on Wednesday, April 27, the Metropolitan Police Department said. A Pennsylvania prison guard has been charged after she attempted to have a sexual relationship with an inmate, according to Pennsylvania state police. Lindsay Nicole Dyer, 32, of Beavertown, is a former Snyder County corrections officer who has been charged with a felony for Criminal Attempts of Institutional Sexual Assault, according to court documents.
