Virginia State University To Be First HBCU To Host Presidential Debate
The road to one of the most significant presidential elections in history is going through the DMV region. Virginia State University (VSU) has been chosen to host the second of three planned 2024 Presidential Debates, making it the first Historically Black College or University (HBCU) to hold the event, officials announced. Patagonia To Open Largest Store Yet In Maryland
The biggest Patagonia store yet is coming to Baltimore, officials say. The 15,000 square foot building at 700 Caroline Street will house the popular brand, opening later this summer, states a Patagonia spokesperson. "We’re excited to repurpose a part of Baltimore’s industrial past and offer both current and past-season clothing and gear—most at outlet prices", states Patagonia. Former Miss USA Leaps To Her Death From NYC High-Rise
Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst leaped to her death from a New York City highrise on Sunday, the New York Post reports. Kryst, 30, lived on the ninth floor of the Orion building at 350 W. 42nd, but jumped from a 29th-floor terrace around 7:15 a.m., police told the outlet.
