Murder Suspect Apprehended, 29-Year-Old Victim Identified By Police In Maryland A Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a fatal shooting earlier this month in the city’s Southwest District, authorities announced. Tracy Jeter, 42, is accused of killing 29-year-old Travon Benson on Saturday, Dec. 14 in the 200 block of North Payson Street. Officers responded to the area shortly before 8:15 p.m. that night after a ShotSpotter alert and found Benson suffering from gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Young Baltimore Man Brutally Killed In Midday Attack Baltimore homicide detectives are working to help bring justice after a 21-year-old man was found brutally murdered. Police found the 21-year-old after being called to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1800 block of West Lexington Street around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11. Officers approached the victim, who had been shot multiple times n the head, chest, and legs.  Medics arrived and rushed the man to a nearby hospital where he tragically died. Mya Morton, 23, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30 from injuries sustained in the incident that killed Gerald Fowlkes, 43. in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 28, Baltimore police say. A two-month-old boy and a 3-year-old boy are in critical condition fighting for their lives after the incident.
