Driver 'Seriously Injured' In Wrong-Way Crash Involving Mack Truck In Maryland, Sheriff Says
One driver suffered critical injuries after being rear-ended by a Mack truck and thrown into the opposite lane of traffic, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office. Lusby resident Juan Antonio Lopez, 22, was listed in serious condition on Wednesday following a crash that was reported in Prince Frederick on Tuesday afternoon. Deputies were called shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 to the area of Hallowing Point Road (Route 231) and Seagull Beach Road, where there was a reported multi-vehicle crash.
