Family With Children Displaced After Montgomery County Attic Fire
A Montgomery County family is displaced after a fire destroyed their home overnight, authorities announced.
Firefighters were called to the home on Drumcastle Court in Germantown around noon, Friday, April 7 after the family smelled smoke, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson.

Vehicle Fire Closes Lanes Of MD 200
Some lanes of a Montgomery County highway were blocked this morning as rescue crews attempted to put out a vehicle fire.
A tractor-trailer went up in flames on the shoulder of the eastbound lanes of MD 200 near Exit 13 and Exit 16 around 9 a.m., Friday, March 31, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews.

Vehicle Hits Tree, Flips On I-495 Beltway Near River Road
Two people are being treated for injuries after their vehicle flipped during a crash in Montgomery County, authorities announced.
Investigators say the crash occurred around noon, Monday, March 20 on the I-495 beltway between Old Georgetown Road and River Road.
The vehicle had reportedly lost control, striking a tree and overturning.

Several passengers are injured after an occupied school bus and SUV collided in Montgomery County, authorities say.
The bus and SUV crashed in the area of Randolph Road and Goodhill Road in Glenmont around 3:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer.

Maryland firefighters are battling a massive two-alarm house fire in Laurel, authorities say.
Around 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, crews received reports of a house fire in the 13000 block of Briarwood Drive, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
