Tornado Touches Down In Maryland (Developing)
A dangerous tornado touched down in Montgomery County on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on June 5, the National Weather Service advised that a tornado was located in Poolsville moving east at approximately 20 mph in the area.

It was also expected to impact Germantown, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, North Potomac, Boyds, and other surrounding communities.

MD Teen Gunned Down On Family Vacation In Puerto Rico, Suspect Surrenders: Police
A suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Maryland teen in Puerto Rico has surrendered, police said.
Carlos Aníbal Rosado Martínez, 23, turned himself in Wednesday morning, July 5, according to the Commissioner of the Puerto Rico bureau of police.
Rosado Martinez is accused of killing Tommy Grays III in Isla Verde earlier that week, in an altercation on the beach, according to police and NBC Washington.
Tommy, of Olney, was a senior at Blake High School.
Rosado Martinez has been charged with murder, attempted murder and gun offenses.

Lanes are blocked after a multi-vehicle crash in Olney trapped one person in a vehicle, authorities say.
The collision occurred around 3 p.m., Monday, March 20 in the area of Evangeline Lane and Hines Road, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials.
One person was trapped as a result of the collision, officials said.

A storm that ripped through the Baltimore region last night left many areas with severe damage from fires, downed trees, and other hazards, officials report.
