The Maryland Attorney General’s Office announced on Wednesday that Quanta Worrell will spend decades behind bars for the fatal ambush of two men in Baltimore in 2020. Worrell, 31, was sentenced to life in prison with all but 60 years suspended after pleading guilty to the 2020 murders of Dimarcus Waldo and Stephen Sanders, according to Attorney General Anthony Brown. Blood Trail Leads Investigators In Maryland To Man Shot In Head: Police
A late afternoon shooting is under investigation after police in Maryland were called to a crime scene in Baltimore, authorities announced. Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, patrol officers from the Baltimore Police Department’s Northwest District were called to the 2900 block of Oakley Avenue, where there was a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a blood trail, which they were able to follow to the 2900 block of West Belvedere Avenue, where they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head, police said. Three People Shot In The Leg In Separate Incidents In Violent Baltimore Evening
Three people are recovering after being shot in the leg during separate shootings throughout Baltimore overnight, authorities say. The first report came in around 5 p.m., when a mother alerted police that her son had been shot in the 3000 block of Oakley Avenue, Tuesday, Aug. 23, according to Baltimore police. The mother told officers that her son had taken himself to the hospital after the shooting.
