The iconic Christmas TV classic "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" will return to its originating network for the first time in a half-century after its debut 60 years ago. On Dec. 6, 1964, the Rankin-Bass Animated Entertainment hour-long claymation special debuted on NBC. But after a 10-year run, CBS acquired rights. Grammy-nominated DMV native Collins Obinna Chibueze - better known as Shaboozey - had a banner week. Fresh off of multiple Grammy nominations, the NFL confirmed that the Woodbridge native would be the featured artist at during the halftime show of the Detroit Lions-Chicago Bears game on Thanksgiving. For 25 years, the body of LaQuanda Denise "Niecey" Williams was called Jane Doe. That changed last October, a few months after NBC aired a segment about the 1998 Charles County cold case, and a family member called police that very night. A Washington DC teacher can be seen on bodycam footage yelling for help and resisting arrest in an encounter with police in Los Angeles who ultimately shock him with a stun gun before he went into cardiac arrest and died earlier this month.
