Three people died in a head-on crash involving a brand-new Dodge Challenger and taxi on Loudoun County Parkway Wednesday, Oct. 25, authorities said.
A 2023 Dodge Challenger was heading north on the Parkway when he lost control near Shellhorn Road and struck a Toyota Sienna taxi head-on around 10:50 p.m., the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
The sole occupant of the Dodge, a 56-year-old male from Las Vegas, NV, and the two occupants of the Toyota, a 51-year-old male from Silver Spring, MD, and a 66-year-old male from Brambleton, VA, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Loudoun County police are searching for a man, who was charged with murder, after his recent release from prison, officials said.
Stone Colburn, 25, was behind bars for stabbing his brother's girlfriend to death and severely wounding her nine-month-old in 2021, according to the Loudoun County Times.
He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on Oct. 6, 2022, due to a paperwork error, but new charges came to light the following morning, the website said.
