Non-Verbal Man Familiar With Mass Transit Reported Missing In Maryland
Concerns are mounting in Montgomery County as friends and family of a non-verbal man who may be mobile and has been reported missing for 24 hours. Eric Spriggs, 56, was reported missing shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21 from the 11200 block of Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring, and now alarm bells are sounding for some. An alert was issued by the Montgomery County Department of Police on Friday advising that Spriggs is non-verbal, but is familiar with mass transit. The man wanted in connection to the shooting death of 40-year-old Cedric Warner last month has turned himself in, Montgomery County authorities announced. Police have released footage of a suspect they say fatally shot a 19-year-old inside a Metro bus in Montgomery County. Silver Spring teen Justice T’Ziyan Elliot has been identified as the man killed by a gunman shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 in a murder that was witnessed by multiple parties. ID Released For Driver Killed After Fatal Crash Involving Maryland Metrobus
The identity of a 25-year-old Silver Spring man killed in a multiple vehicle collision that sent one crashing into a Metrobus has been revealed, authorities say. Ovidio Aroldo Gonzalez Cortez was pronounced dead on the scene after the collision in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Lockwood Drive the night of Sunday, July 24, according to Montgomery County police.
